We had a fantastic coffee social at the AWIS-Houston networking event last Saturday! It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends and welcome new members as we celebrated women in science. A huge thank you to our new outreach board member, Zahra Hooda, for her exceptional organization of the event, and to our membership chair, Elizabeth O. Hileman, Ph.D., for bringing new members and preparing thoughtful gifts and giveaways. Special thanks to our secretary, Suhasini Lulla, and PR chair, Yupei Lin, for their ongoing promotion of our social events. And of course, we are grateful to our president, Bandana Sharma Chapagain, for her inspiring leadership. A big shoutout to all other dedicated board members for their hard work!
