AWIS-Houston

The AWIS-Houston chapter is dedicated to supporting women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) in Texas’s Gulf Coast and Houston region by providing opportunities to participate in professional networking, career development, mentoring, and leadership activities. 

Our goals and objectives in 2024 are to:

• Deepen relationships among our members to create a support system for women in science and build camaraderie.
• Increase opportunities for STEMM professionals by expanding career development opportunities.
• Provide opportunities for networking across all STEMM fields.
• Strengthen community engagement through outreach activities.
• Continue to actively recruit chapter members and executive board members across all genders.
